Harley Davidson makes some of the best known motorcycles in the world. All of their bikes are interesting and shiny. They are shiny because they have a lot of chrome parts. You probably know that these bikes are made for long rides, where the driver and passenger will enjoy. Because of this purpose, Harley Davidson motorcycles are not very fast, but they have well-known sound. There are many interesting facts about this motorcycle manufacturer.
•    In 1904 William S Harvey joined with Arthur Davidson. They found Harley Davidson Motorcycles. William S Harvey designed an engine that can be fitted into a bicycle frame. At that time, he was 21 years old.
•    The size of the ‘’factory’’ where the first Harley Davidson bike was made was 10 x 15 feet.
•    Henry Meyer from Milwaukee, Wisconsin was the first buyer of Harley Davidson motorcycle.
•    In 1905, Harley Davidson won their first race.
•    In 1906, they made a new plant and hired 6 workers.
•    Janet Davidson was the first woman who drove Harley Davidson.
•    The first Harley Davidson with a V-twin engine was launched in 1909. It had 7bhp.
•    Malcolm Forbes (founder of Forbes Magazine) owned more than 50 Harley Davidson motorcycles. He gave a lot of them to his friend.
•    Harley Davidson open their first factory outside the United States in 1998, in Brazil.
•    CVO Ultra Classic Electra Glide was the most expensive motorcycle, Harley Davidson ever made. The price was $40.000.
