Red Bull is one of the best drinks in the world. Maybe it really ‘’gives you wings’’. But this company is known for many things. Formula 1 fans, know about Red Bull’s success in the fastest sport on the planet. There are many things about Red Bull. Some of them were unknown, until now.

•    People believe that Red Bull originated in Austria. In fact, it was made in Thailand, by Chaleo Yoovidhya.  This drink was made in order to help truck drivers and factory workers stay awake for longer. The name was Krating Daeng (Red Bull on Thai).
•    There were no energy drinks before Red Bull. The company was launched in 1987, but it was available in the United States 10 years later.
•    In 2009, Red Bull was banned in Germany, because they found traces of cocaine. After some time, it was re-approved. Red Bull uses de-cocainized coca leaf extracts.
•    Red Bull sponsors the spinal cord research.
•    In 2013, Red Bull sold 5.387 billion cans. This made them a profit of 40 billion.
•    The headquarters is located in Fuschl am See. In Austria, of course. It is one of the most interesting places you can see.
•    1 can of Red Bull contains the same amount of caffeine as one cup of coffee.
•    Red Bull is available in 162 countries.
•    Red Bull is known for sponsoring some extreme sports. Beside this, they sponsor movies, dancing and creativity.
•    Mixing Red Bull with alcohol is something you should avoid. It can be deadly.
•    Didi Mateschitz, co-owner, is the richest man in Austria. His fortune is $5 billion. He is 208th richest man in the world.
